The University of Bristol's flagship scholarship programme for international students. Think Big Undergraduate Scholarships provide substantial tuition fee support to overseas-fee students beginning an eligible full-time undergraduate degree at the University of Bristol.
What's on offer
Scholarships of £6,500 or £13,000 per year are applied as a tuition fee discount for up to four years of undergraduate study. Awards are renewed annually subject to satisfactory academic progress, defined as achieving an average mark above 50%. Funding is not paid during years spent away from the University, such as a study-abroad or industry-placement year.
Requirements
Applicants must be classified as overseas students for fee-paying purposes and have applied for a full-time, in-person eligible undergraduate course at the University of Bristol starting in September 2026. Applicants must receive an offer by 24 April 2026, meet or exceed the entry requirements in their formal UCAS offer by 31 August 2026, and confirm Bristol as their Firm UCAS choice. Bristol Medical School and Bristol Dental School courses are excluded from the standard Think Big Undergraduate Scholarship.
